Hello Crafty Friends!
Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card created for the AECP Magical Marker Techniques class — and as the name suggests, this one is all about working a little marker magic!

Materials Used:
Altenew Artist Markers in: Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Midnight Violet, Pistachio and Misty Sage
Tranquil Trail Stamp & Die Set
Layered Gift Tag – Heart Die Set
Shades of Purple Enamel Dots
Vellum
Embossing Ink & Embossing Powder
Neenah Solar White Cardstock (110 lb)
The Process:
I began by stamping the large floral image from the Tranquil Trail set onto vellum using embossing ink, then heat-set it with embossing powder. Once cooled, I colored the image on the back and front sides of the vellum using Altenew’s Artist Markers in soft purples and greens.
Next, I die cut the floral image using the coordinating die and set it aside. I then created a heart-shaped window on my card front using the Layered Gift Tag – Heart Die Set. That single cut also provided the “With Love” sentiment — as it is part of the cut-out heart. I colored it with Lavender Fields and adhered it to the inside of the card so that it peeks through the heart-shaped opening.

To finish the card front, I cut a portion of the colored floral image and draped it over the heart window. As a final touch, I added two enamel hearts near the sentiment to tie it all together.

Final Thoughts:
This design felt like a sweet blend of elegance and softness — perfect for a thoughtful gesture. What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments or tag me on Instagram @caracaro33!
Thanks so much for spending a little crafty time with me today. Until next time — happy crafting! 💜

Woah! That looks so dainty!
