Hi Everyone!
Today, I’m showcasing a clean and simple card inspired by the lessons in the For The Guys class. I hope you like it! Let me know what you think.

I don’t usually categorize my cards by gender—after all, what about gender-fluid, non-binary, agender, or transgender individuals? I prefer to create for people, focusing on their unique personalities. That said, this class challenged me to design a masculine card, and I found plenty of inspiration, especially in the geometric designs.

There were two striking stamped examples that really spoke to me, and while I have a few sets that could work for geometric patterns, I decided to go with dies instead. I reached for the Triangle Madness Die Set and Shattered Triangle Die Set, selecting a few gel-printed backgrounds that coordinated nicely (see picture above). After cutting out a variety of triangles, I chose a dark cardstock base and started arranging the pieces into a pattern I liked before gluing them down.
I planned on using two layers of triangles, but before adding the top pieces, I prepared the cardstock for heat embossing using an antistatic powder tool, stamped and heat-embossed "happy birthday" from the Trendy Circles Stamp Set (sadly, no longer available).

With the sentiment in place, I foam-mounted two larger triangles over the design to add some extra dimension.

The best part? I now have plenty of leftover triangles for future projects! The backgrounds from which I cut the shapes using the Triangle Madness Die Set turned out beautifully, so I decided to create a bonus card by layering three of them, adding a frame, and finishing it off with a die-cut sentiment. This die set is incredibly versatile! In fact, I made a second bonus card as well—but I’m keeping that one under wraps for now. You’ll have to check back if I’ve piqued your curiosity. 😉

I can’t wait to hear what you think of my AECP project! Thank you so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!
