AECP Level 1 All About Layering 4

Hi Everyone!

For today's project, I created a card inspired by the lessons in the "All About Layering 4" course. I hope you like it!

Unlike my last project, this one is a one-layer card.

I started with a green and off-white gel print as my background and stamped the outline of the flower from the Golden Days Stamp Set in Obsidian Black Ink in the bottom left-hand corner. While waiting for the ink to dry, I stamped the same outline a few times onto masking paper and fuzzy-cut them out to prepare for the next steps. I stamped the floral layers in shades of yellow from the Wood Warbler Fresh Dye Ink Set.

Once the stamping was complete, I masked the flower and added two more—one on each side—this time only stamping the outline. I love how this creates a more graphic look while letting the spotty texture of the gel print shine through. With all three flowers masked, I moved on to the leaves, stamping them all around the panel. To mix things up, I skipped the outline and used only two of the layering stamps in Misty Sage and Mossy Meadow from the Jade Dreams Fresh Dye Ink Set. The soft greens blend beautifully into the background, making the whole card feel like a lush, layered garden.

For the sentiment, I stamped a bold "Thank You" from the Build-A-Flower: Fuchsia Stamp Set in Obsidian Black Ink.

I had originally planned to add a few black enamel dots, but in the end, I loved the simplicity of the design and decided to let it shine on its own.

I can’t wait to hear what you think of my second AECP project! Thank you so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!
