Hi Everyone!

The techniques from the Let It Shine class inspired this multi-layered card, and I had so much fun incorporating shimmer and metallic accents! I hope you like it! ✨
I started by choosing a cool, calming color palette, going with the beautiful blues from the Cool Summer Night Ink Set:
🔹 Sea Glass
🔹 Ocean Waves
🔹 Dusk
🔹 Desert Night
For a fast and effortless application, I used a gel press plate to transfer the inks onto cardstock, creating separate sections in varying shades of blue. Once my panel was dry, I die-cut the balloon sections for the hot air balloon using the Breezy Quest Die Set. The lower parts of the balloon were cut from white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers.
For the backdrop, I dry-embossed a rectangular panel and colored it using Sea Glass and gold on the gel press plate, creating a soft, luminous effect. To tie everything together, I added strips of the Cool Summer Night Washi Tape Set to the card base, echoing the blues of the balloon. The sentiment was die-cut from dark blue cardstock using the add-on dies from the Watercolor Roses Layering Stencil Set.
Now for the shine! ✨ I added touches of Golden Trim Washi Tape, transferred golden acrylic paint onto the embossed panel, and painted a few balloon sections with golden watercolor to bring in some extra radiance.

I’d love to hear what you think—drop a comment below if you enjoyed this post!
Thank you so much for stopping by, and happy crafting! 💙✨🎈
I LOVE the addition of the embossed panel. This card is so chic!
