Hi Everyone!

Today, I’m sharing a floral card for the Altenew March 2025 Inspiration Challenge! 🌿🌸✨ The suggested colors for this challenge are yellow, red and green—such a fresh and vibrant combination!

➡️ Check out the Challenge here on the Altenew Blog: https://blog.altenew.com/march-2025-inspiration-challenge-fun-birthday-card/
For my card, I started by creating a geometric backdrop using the Triangle Madness Die Set. I cut the pattern from a green gel-press panel, which adds that lovely depth and variation in color. For the floral focal point, I stamped and die-cut a yellow flower using the Grateful Heart Stamp and Die Set.
To bring in the red accents, I die-cut a variety of leaves from a watercolored panel using sets like Just Leaves and Berries and Branches. For the sentiment, I kept it simple but striking—I die-cut a small, scripted "hugs" from the same red panel, using the add-on dies from the Watercolor Roses Layering Stencil Set.
Finally, I arranged all the elements on black cardstock, which really makes the colors pop! 🎨✨
I’d love to hear what you think—drop a comment below if you enjoyed this post! And if you haven’t already, consider joining the Challenge—it’s so much fun, and there are gift cards to be won!
